Assistant Manager – Finance

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a high-caliber Finance professional to join our team in a dual-impact role. This position blends core Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with specialized Project Financing and Fund Raising initiatives. As a client-facing lead, you will be the bridge between complex financial data and strategic decision-making, ensuring our projects are well-funded, liquid, and profitable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Financing & Fund Raising
Capital Structuring: Develop and execute strategies for project-specific funding requirements.
Lender Relations: Prepare comprehensive Information Memorandums (IM), financial models, and pitch decks for banks, PE firms, and credit institutions.
Due Diligence: Manage the end-to-end due diligence process for debt or equity infusions.
Loan Documentation: Oversee term sheet negotiations and ensure compliance with disbursement conditions.
Advanced FP&A & Strategic Planning
Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex integrated financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to evaluate project viability (IRR, NPV, Payback period).
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly rolling forecasts with deep-dive variance analysis.
Performance Tracking: Develop KPIs to monitor project health and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Working Capital & Treasury Management
Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor and forecast group-level liquidity; manage receivables/payables cycles to optimize the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).
Funding Utilization: Ensure efficient deployment of funds across various project sites.
Client Advisory & Communication
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for UK-based clients and partners.
Reporting: Present monthly financial performance packs to the Board and external investors, translating complex numbers into clear strategic narratives.

SKILLS:
Exceptional English communication skills (Verbal & Written) are non-negotiable, as this is a client-facing role interacting with UK stakeholders.
Expertise in Advanced Excel (VBA/Macros is a plus) and Power BI/Tableau.
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards or IFRS is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to UK business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3–10 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or Corporate Finance.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance Instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole Numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and Percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in Situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of Instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA preferred
