Data Privacy Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Data Privacy manager will lead the organization’s data privacy strategy and compliance program, ensuring adherence to US and India Privacy laws through policy development, risk assessments, Privacy by Design, and cross-functional collaboration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deep understanding of US privacy laws (GLBA, CCPA, CPRA, other state laws, etc.).
—
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing an organization-wide privacy program.
—
Strong track record in privacy impact assessments, policies, curating and delivering Privacy related trainings.
—
Implement and enforce records management policies and procedures.
—
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards for record-keeping.
—
Conduct periodic independent reviews of records to ensure they are stored, retained and disposed as per the company policy.

SKILLS:

Proven experience in Data Privacy, Records management, archiving, or a similar role.

Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently with ownership.
—
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
Instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
Numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
Percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in Situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of Instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
