Lead RPA Developer

ROLE OVERVIEW:
AIS is looking for a seasoned RPA Lead with strong expertise in UiPath, Python, and Power Automate to drive automation initiatives supporting business transformation, efficiency improvement, and AI enabled automation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Automation Design & Delivery:
—
Lead and architect scalable automation solutions using UiPath and Power Automate.
—
Develop complex workflows, reusable components, and Python scripts for API, data, and OCR automation.
—
Conduct feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and solution design.
Technical Leadership:
—
Mentor and guide RPA developers and analysts.
—
Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure quality delivery.
—
Manage orchestrator schedules, bot deployments, and lifecycle management.
Business Collaboration:
—
Work with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
—
Collect and document requirements, process maps, and PDD/SDD documentation.
—
Present ROI, solution walkthroughs, and automation roadmaps.
Governance & Support:
—
Ensure automation compliance with security, audit, and quality frameworks.
—
Troubleshoot production issues and lead continuous improvements.
—
Drive documentation, version control, and process optimization.
AI-Driven Enhancements:
—
Integrate OCR, NLP, and Python-based AI components when applicable.
—
Explore Generative AI/LLM use-cases aligned with AIS’s automation direction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

SKILLS:

UiPath (Advanced): REFramework, queues, attended/unattended automation.
—
Python: APIs, data processing, automation libraries, web scraping.
—
Power Automate: Workflow automation, connectors, MS ecosystem integration.
—
Strong understanding of SQL, JSON, REST APIs.
—
Experience with Document Understanding / OCR / NLP is preferred.
—
Exposure to cloud (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
—
Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
—
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
—
Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
—
Ability to handle multiple high-impact projects.
EXPERIENCE:
—
8+ years total, with 5+ years hands-on in RPA
—
Strong experience in UiPath + Python
—
Working knowledge of Power Automate
—
Prior experience leading automation teams or large projects.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
Instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
Numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and
Percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in Situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of Instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
