Asst. Manager/Manager Accounts

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The AM/Manager is responsible for all areas of the Accounting and Finance Department. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. He/She is responsible. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, year-end audit preparation. It requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. 

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial statements and general ledger structure.

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close with timely reporting.

Ensure the monthly and quarterly SLAs and Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

Collaborating with the other managers and team leads to supporting overall department goals and objectives.

Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Assisting staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.

Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

Software implementation (Microsoft business central).

Accounting configuration in business central.

Controls and validation implementation in Business central.

Process flow design on accounts payable, account receivable, payment/banking.

Access management, master creation, monitoring managing Chart of accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of experience in account and finance.

Excellent computer skills on MS Office and PowerBI.

Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software, Business Central and QuickBooks.

Team player & Ability to multitask.

Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards.

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on compay’s success.

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Good time-management skills.

Interpersonal and communication skills.

Charted accountant or master’s degree in accounting or finance or MBA Finance.

EDUCATION:
Post Graduation Mandatory.
Experience in accounting domain will be an advantage.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write emails, speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and clients.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals quickly and correctly.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

Microsoft certification, CCNA or higher networking certification.
