Inside Sales Associate
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Head of Inside Sales
LOCATION: Gurugram
Summary:
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for identifying and nurturing new sales opportunities through proactive outreach efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social networking. This role requires engagement with senior-level decision-makers, identifying customer needs, and building a robust sales funnel. The ideal candidate has proven experience in B2B inside sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation: Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails, and social networking. Meet monthly targets for qualified lead generation and develop a healthy sales funnel.

Stakeholder Engagement: Connect and follow up with CXO, Vice President, and Director-level prospects with decision-making capabilities. Understand customer needs and communicate how the company’s products and services address those needs.

Account Research: Research accounts to identify key players, assess needs, and generate interest. Maintain and expand the database of prospects for sales calls and marketing campaigns.

Pipeline Management: Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives and Sales Leaders for further development and closure.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

SKILLS:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Succes in building top performing email templates and sequences.

Strong listening and presentation abilities.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Proficient in HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn platforms.

Skilled in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, Copilot).
EXPERIENCE:
2–3 years of proven inside sales experience. Demonstrated history of B2B selling of technology /outsourcing solutions to senior-level prospects within U.S.-based companies. Familiarity with selling to financial institutions (banks, lenders) as well as experience with emerging market for AIS (insurance, oil & gas, distribution).
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is an office-based role with U.S. shift working hours. Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
