Mail Specialist
POSITION TYPE: Temp to Perm

REPORTS TO: Vendor Management
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Specialist skilled in all aspects of mail handling. The candidate should be proficient in using mailroom equipment, provide excellent customer service and possess a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy.
This position has the potential to become permanent, and all candidates must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Open mail.
—
Read and sort court documents.
—
Scan documents.
—
Assist with tagging documents, if necessary.
—
Mail legal documents for secured team and legal staff.
—
General research.
—
Understand and adhere to all company policies including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information.
—
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position and requires being at work during scheduled shifts and arrive on time.
—
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
—
Experience with mail and FedEx processing.
—
Experience in using postage meter machines.
—
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
—
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & SharePoint).
—
Data Entry skills, with 10 key by touch.
—
Customer service skills.
—
Detailed and analytical skills for auditing purposes.
—
Must be able to multi-task.
—
Excellent interpersonal skills.
—
Team player.
EDUCATION:
—
High school diploma or equivalent.
—
One to three months related experience and/or training.
—
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals quickly and correctly.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
