Program Manager / Sr. Program Manager– Core System Transformation

AIS is undergoing a system transformation of its core Bankruptcy Servicing system, which will replace our legacy Servicing and Case Management System with a new platform. This new system will serve as the system of record while supporting end-to-end case management and servicing workflows.
We are now in the phase to strategize, plan and execute a full system transition and sunset the legacy system. Transition requires seamless migration of accounts, servicing processes, and users while ensuring data integrity, minimal business disruption, and strong user adoption.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Core System Transformation to lead this critical transition and cutover effort. This individual will:
  1. Drive and execute the transition strategy, ensuring a seamless transition and cutover with minimal disruptions.
  2. Own and manage functional and technical requirements for this transition, ensuring alignment with business processes.
This position requires expertise in system transition planning, stakeholder management, data integrity, and process engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both program execution and shaping the business requirements for a successful full transition and legacy system sunsetting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Conversion Program Management

Develop and lead a structured system transition plan, including data migration, process transition, and system cutover.

Ensure data integrity through robust data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes.

Align system transition timelines, dependencies, and risk factors across business and technology teams.

Lead cross-functional teams (Technology, Operations, Client Services, Compliance) to ensure seamless execution.

Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to prevent disruptions.

Establish cutover plans and rollback strategies to safeguard business continuity.

Provide real-time executive reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

8+ years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on core system transitions, enterprise migrations, or large-scale system implementations.

Strong technical understanding of data structures, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies.

Proven expertise in data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data governance.

Experience leading cutover planning, risk mitigation, and rollback strategies in large-scale system conversions.

Strong business process reengineering experience, aligning conversion efforts with operational execution and improvements.

Excellent stakeholder management, working with technical, business, and client-facing teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address transition challenges.

Expertise in change management and end-user adoption strategies.

Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical processes into clear business impact explanations.

PRODUCT OWNERSHIP FOR SYSTEM CONVERSION REQUIREMENTS:
Own and define system transition requirements, ensuring the new system meets business needs.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to document functional and technical specifications needed for transition.
Define and Optimize process workflows for a post transition Operational execution.
Develop and drive end-user training, onboarding, and change management plans.
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to refine transition strategies and ensure long-term usability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with Core System Transformation.
PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
Experience with ETL processes, data mapping, and system validation methodologies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write emails, speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and clients.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals quickly and correctly.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
