JOB TITLE: AVP- Human Resource

LOCATION:Gurugram

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership: Participating in the development and execution of the organization’s HR strategy in alignment with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.

Talent Management: Overseeing the attraction, development, and retention of talent. This includes succession planning, workforce planning, and ensuring the organization has the human capital to meet future challenges.

Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management systems that support business objectives and drive high performance, including setting performance criteria, conducting evaluations, and managing performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations: Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Creating a positive working environment, addressing grievances, and ensuring legal compliance.

Compensation and Benefits: Overseeing the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits plans that attract and retain top talent, while also managing the budget and ensuring fiscal responsibility.

Learning and Development: Leading the design and delivery of training programs that support employee development and organizational needs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Diversity and Inclusion: Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and have equal opportunities.

Organizational Development: Leading organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, culture change, and processes improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

HR Policies and Compliance: Ensuring that all HR policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Keeping abreast of new laws and regulations and making necessary adjustments to policies and practices.

Team Leadership and Development: Leading, mentoring, and developing the HR team to ensure they are providing the best support and service to the organization.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with other leaders and departments to understand their HR needs and how the HR department can support achieving their objectives.

HR Analytics: Leveraging data and analytics to make informed decisions about HR strategies and initiatives, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and identify areas for improvement.

Employee Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Postgraduate in HR with 12+ years of experience preferably in the BPO/ KPO / Financial / IT Industry.

6+ experience in team management.

Proficient in HR Analytics & reporting

Excellent communication and leadership skills

A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the team members.

Good people management skills.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in human resource

KNOWLEDGE:

Financial/Legal/Accounting/Banking/Insurance/Human Resource

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write emails, speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and clients.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals quickly and correctly.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
