JOB TITLE: Business Analyst

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 – 7 Years
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 1
DEPARTMENT: Batch Services
REPORTS TO: Director
LOCATION: Vadodara
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understanding tasks and creating BRDs.
Creating Functional Specification Documents.
Understanding requirements as communicated by business stakeholders.
Understanding stakeholder briefs clearly and propose suitable solutions in consultation with the team.
Build the required project documentation, workflows and FSDs, SRS/SOWs in collaboration with the stakeholders for the project.
Maintain the SRS documentation during the course of the project.
Understand and manage change requests.
Develop and actively collaborate with project managers and the team on plans and provide weekly status and tracking reporting on the health of the project.
Provide clear, consistent and timely messaging; both verbal and written; within the team and to technology and business leadership; facilitate effective and timely meetings.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Proficiency in building software specification documents and FSDs for applications/programs.
Ability to understand project requirements and briefs to build workflows and documentation required to build the solution.
Clear understanding of SDLC concepts and best practices.
Strong understanding of web applications, websites, data warehousing and related technology solutions.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (IT – Software/Data or other related disciplines) from 3-4-year college or university.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance Instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole Numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and Percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in Situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of Instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
Candidates with quality related certification/licenses will be preferred.
